From January 2025, University House will be offering a limited number of 6-month internships to law graduates. These internships will accrue valuable Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) and will be signed off by one of our staff solicitors. To qualify for one of these internships, graduates will need (or be predicted) a 2:1 or better.
University House is a not-for-profit specialist legal advice provider. Internships will be offered in single subjects only, covering Welfare Benefits, housing, employment or family law. It will be entirely up to you the hours you choose as a volunteer, but the more hours you do the greater the QWE you will accrue.
As well as meeting QWE relevant to qualifying as a solicitor, our internships will also serve as an important introduction to the not-for-profit legal advice sector.
Internships will be based in our East London offices.
